Retreats, camps, conferences PDF Print E-mail

Groups trips to men’s and women’s retreats and conferences and summer youth camps are planned occasionally.  Watch the announcements in the bulletin and on the home page for current plans.

 

Christian Camping:   There is an abundance of Christian camps in our area providing a variety of options to meet your child's, teen's and family's interests and needs.    The links below to many of the area's  camps' websites for more information..  Many camps offer discounts for early registrations, and Hillcrest offers camp scholarships to qualified participants in approved camp programs.  Watch the bulletin or home page for announcements about camp scholarship applications

 

Camp Burton is our conference facility in northeastern Ohio offering weekend retreats and complete summer camp programs for children in first grade through high school as well as families.

 

Camp Mission Meadows located on Chautauqua Lake offers summer camps for children and teens in grades 1-12 plus retreats and family camps.  For first-hand information talk with the Benson, Roof or Livington families. 

 

Miracle Mountain Ranch is a western-themed retreat center and summer camp located in Spring Creek, PA.  Ask the Hinman family about their experiences at MMR.

 

Boys JIM Club offers two-week summer sessions for boys aged 10-12 focused on Christian Leadership Training at their facility on Chautauqua Lake.  JIM Club attracts boys across North America who have exhibited uncommon servanthood and potential for Christian leadership.  Andrew Childs is a former JIM Club participant. 

 

Camp Li Lo Li in Steamburg, NY (near Randolph) offers pre-teen (age 8-13), teen and family camps.  Ask a member of the Tonkin family or the Cotter family about their experiences with this camp.

 

Bethany Camp near Sinclairville, NY offers Discoverers camp for kids in grades 3-6, junior high, senior high and family camps.  The Olejniczak's have attended this camp.

 

Circle C Ranch near Delevan, NY invites kids aged 8-18 to experience the glamour and mystique of the Wild West.

 

Odosagih Bible Conference at Lime Lake, NY offers a summer program for families and adults to enjoy Christian speakers and music while enjoying the outdoor activities available at the facility.

 

Deerfoot Lodge in New York's Adirondack Mountains near Speculator, NY offers 2-week long wilderness camps for boys age 9-16.  Ron Mackey, a former associate pastor at Hillcrest, is the camp director.  Some sessions for this camp fill in early January, so plan early to be part of Deerfoot's programs.  Andrew Roof has attended this camp.
