In September, 2008, Hillcrest hosted World Vision's award-winning exhibit, "Step Into Africa". For four days, the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena was transformed into an African village. This was the culmination of more than a year of planning, prayer and partnership with area churches, organizations and local businesses. More than 3,000 toured the exhibit.
