New Connect Groups!

We have five groups that are taking new members at this time and three groups that are in the growing/connecting stage that aren’t . We also have people interested in starting the following groups:

Heart2Heart Connection #3: Connect with other women through studying God’s Word, we are looking for God to lead a woman to begin this group, please see Dell McCann if interested in leading or being a part of this new group.

Men's Bible Connection #2: Connect for Fellowship, Bible Study & Prayer. This group would like to meet during the week sometime, if interested please contact Phil Foster.

Women’s Bible Insight/Sharing Connection

Overall direction/goal: A group of faithful mature believers growing in Biblical insight by sharing and connecting with one another in real and authentic ways.

Current Study:  Engaged in two (every other week) Women of Faith studies.  "Living Above Worry and Stress" and "Experiencing Joy"

Location/ time: Hillcrest Main Building, Atrium Room/ Mon., 9:30-11 a.m.

Men's Bible Connection

Overall direction/goal:  Fellowship, Bible Study & Prayer

Current Study: “What Jesus Demands from the World”, John Piper. We listen to an audio CD and follow along in the book to hear 1 demand each time, currently on demand 31 of 50.  "Love your enemies to show you are children of God."

Location /time: Youth Building, 2nd & 4th Sat. each month, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

WOW (Wise, Outstanding Widows) Connection

Overall direction/goal: To connect and share our needs and questions with other widows who are in the same boat.

Current Study: The Faces of Grief: A Women’s Bible Study by Marian Talley-Cunningham

Location/time: 101 Allendale Ave (Jamestown), 2nd Thurs. each month, 10-11:30 a.m.

Open for more participants? Yes---any widows from our church (currently at 12 and feel it is a comfortable number)
